Description

Innsbruck still lies directly below us, but just a few minutes after setting off from the Hungerburg, the houses disappear behind the trees. Through shady woodland and with frequent views down into the Inn Valley, the route leads from the Arzler Alm on to the Umbrüggler Alm. It is precisely this immediate proximity of town and mountains that defines Innsbruck: only a few metres of elevation separate city life from forest paths and alpine pastures. The tour has its own charm in every season – from the fresh greenery of spring through shady summer days to the colours of autumn. The route can be tailored to suit: We can combine wide forest roads with narrower woodland and hiking trails to suit the group’s preferences and requirements. Along the way, you can also discover numerous native plants, whilst the view over Innsbruck and the mountains to the south of the Inn Valley opens up time and again.
