Guiding Exploring Connecting

On the road together.
Born in the Alps. Sharing the excitement.

We are TAC

The Alpine Collective is a group of guides who have been exploring the mountains together for many years and are specialists in our respective disciplines – from mountaineering and freeriding to climbing, mountain biking, paragliding and hiking. United by our passion for wild adventures in the mountains and the wonderful moments we share, we want to share this passion with you and take you on special experiences in the mountains. We are committed to the highest standards of quality, safety and trust.

WHAT WE BELIEVE IN.

Passion. Experience. Community.

TAC_Division_Logos_Full_Passion
We do what we’re passionate about.

We are active freeriders, mountaineers and mountain bikers ourselves, and we only offer experiences that we love ourselves. That is precisely why we focus on small groups rather than large crowds.

TAC_Division_Logos_Full_Knowledge
Expertise you can rely on.

Our guides are state-certified mountain and ski guides, certified cycle guides, tandem pilots and walking guides. Well-thought-out programmes, sound teaching methods and personalised planning form the basis of our coaching sessions and tours.

TAC_Division_logos_full_people
On the mountain, it’s the people that matter to us.

We treat you as equals and prioritise having a good time together over reaching the summit at any cost. Through courses, events and workshops, we bring people together and strengthen the mountaineering community.

The excitement we shared.

„Small, personal, honest. Exactly what I was looking for. After three days, I feel more confident on the mountain than I did after a week on a mass-market course."

Lena K.
Ski tour to Lampsenspitze

„From the first phone call to the final abseil: it just clicks. Professionals who love their craft — and the mountains too."

Markus B.
Via Ferrata, Innsbruck

„We arrived as a couple and left as part of the collective. The atmosphere was friendly and the standard was first-class."

FAQ

Any questions? We've got you covered.

What level do I need?+

Our tours are divided into different levels. You can find a detailed description under the ‘Levels’ menu item. In addition, each tour specifies the specific requirements you should meet.

Level-Definitionen ansehen
What if the weather doesn’t play along?+

Safety comes first. If the weather or conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll work together to find the best solution – we’ll adapt the tour, find an alternative route or reschedule it. We’ll decide on a case-by-case basis what’s possible in each specific situation.

How many people are in my group?+

We deliberately travel in small groups. This allows more time for personalised support, individual learning and a better shared experience. You can find the exact group size listed with each activity.

Do I need my own equipment?+

That depends on the tour. We’ve put together suitable equipment hire packages for many of our tours. You can find out what you should bring with you and what you can hire from us directly on the page for each tour.

Can I cancel at short notice?+

You can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before the start date; after that, our tiered cancellation policy applies. You can find the details in the booking terms and conditions. We also recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance for every booking, so that you are as well covered as possible in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
