Hike & Fly: Advanced

On the Hike & Fly Advanced tour, the route to the launch site may be longer. We combine an extended mountain hike with a tandem flight back down into the valley, which means we’ll be covering significantly more elevation gain on foot. Naturally, we’ll be taking the flying equipment with us and will share the load for the ascent. Which destination we choose depends on the season, the weather, the wind and current conditions, but also on your preferences. There are various peaks and launch sites around Innsbruck that are ideal for longer hike-and-fly tours. This means the route, elevation gain and nature of the tour can be tailored to your individual needs. After the ascent and a well-deserved break, we prepare the paraglider. A few steps’ run-up – and the many metres of elevation we’ve just covered on foot are suddenly beneath us.
