Hike & Fly: Relaxed

On the ‘Hike & Fly Relaxed’ tour, we combine a leisurely mountain hike with a very special return journey: instead of walking back down into the valley, we unfurl our paragliders at the top and fly back. This means that both the ascent and the change of perspective from the air are part of the experience. There are various suitable destinations around Innsbruck for this. Which one we choose depends on the season, the weather, the wind and the current conditions, but of course also on your preferences. The ascent is deliberately kept moderate, leaving plenty of time for breaks and to enjoy the scenery along the way. The paragliding kit is shared out for the ascent. Once we reach the launch site, we switch from hiking to flying. A few steps’ run-up, the paraglider lifts us off the ground – and suddenly the return journey takes us through the air.
