Innsbruck via ferrata

The Innsbruck via ferrata is one of the most beautiful ridge via ferratas in the Alps. Stretching across several peaks, the route runs directly above the Innsbruck skyline and combines breathtaking views down onto the rooftops of Innsbruck with the rugged landscape of the Karwendel. Technically, the route is mostly rated at difficulty level C. However, the real challenge of the tour lies not so much in individual key sections as in its length. The numerous ascents and descents add up; each summit must be earned individually; and concentration must not waver until the very last metre. After 3 to 4 hours, you reach the end of the first section of the via ferrata, where you decide whether you still have enough time and stamina for the slightly more demanding second section.
