Description

Anyone who appreciates peace and quiet, nature and varied climbing will love the Peter Kofler via ferrata. Above the tranquil mountain village of St. Jodok in the Valsertal, this modern and excellently secured route winds its way through steep, solid rock. Steep sections alternate with enjoyable stretches and two suspension bridges, whilst in between, small rest areas – including an unusual bench right in the middle of the rock face – invite you to take a brief breather. Away from the main tourist crowds, there’s plenty of time to let your gaze wander over the lush green slopes of the Valsertal valley and the surrounding mountains. It is precisely this combination of challenging climbing, tranquil scenery and a varied route that makes the Peter Kofler via ferrata a real hidden gem for experienced beginners and advanced climbers alike.
