Pfarrachalm in the Stubai Valley

This walk takes us steadily uphill through peaceful spruce and larch forests until, upon reaching the Pfarrachalm, the panoramic view over the surrounding valleys and mountains opens up in its entirety: The view stretches from the Patscher Kofel in the Tux Alps, past the mighty Olperer and the Habicht, right to the glaciated mountains of the Stubai Main Ridge. And we can enjoy this view all the more whilst savouring Tyrolean delicacies on the alp’s sun terrace. If you still have enough energy left in your legs before or after your stop for refreshments, we’ll climb a further 100 metres in altitude to reach a huge wooden swing seat. Perched on a ledge, it probably offers one of the most impressive vantage points in the Stubai Valley. It’s definitely a lovely spot to linger!
